CME Group Launches Global Advertising Campaign Entitled “How the World Advances”

CHICAGO, March 15, 2011 – CME Group, the world’s leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, today launched a new global advertising campaign entitled How the World Advances. The campaign illustrates the role CME Group’s products and services play in helping businesses expand and world economies grow.


“Global commerce is quickly evolving and diversifying,” says Anita Liskey, Managing Director, Corporate Marketing and Communications. “The campaign demonstrates how CME Group helps market participants manage the risks they face, giving them confidence to grow their businesses no matter how challenging the environment. For example, agricultural producers can plant more crops the world needs by locking in future prices, transportation companies can deliver more goods by hedging fuel costs, and participants in international commerce can expand more securely by managing currency fluctuations.”


The campaign is being launched with a 30-second television commercial that will run on Bloomberg TV, CNBC, Fox Business Network and the Golf Channel (link below):

The campaign also includes print ads, the first two of which – “Finance new opportunities” and “Trade beyond borders” – are attached; related online advertisements; and a micro-website containing supplementary material such as video testimonials. The advertisements will be featured in leading financial media including the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Barron’s and the Economist,  complemented by top-tier industry publications and regionally targeted media in Washington, D.C., Europe, Asia and Latin America.
