1. What is CME Direct Mobile?
CME Direct Mobile is the companion mobile application to CME Direct Desktop, providing access to CME Group markets on your mobile device. It's fully integrated with the CME Direct desktop, allowing you to manage your orders on the go with synchronized orders and markets.It's available for existing CME Direct users on iPhones, iPads and Android devices through the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
2. On which platforms is CME Direct Mobile available?
CME Direct Mobile is supported on devices running iOS 13.0 or later and Android devices.
3. I have an existing CME Direct ID. How do I start using CME Direct Mobile?
Install the application from your phone’s app store, and log in with your existing ID and password.
4. I don’t have a CME Direct ID. How can I subscribe to CME Direct Mobile?
You must have a CME Direct ID to access CME Direct Mobile. View details on registering for CME Direct.
5. As a CME Direct Mobile user, what market data will I be able to access?
You'll have visibility to all CME Group futures and options markets based on your CME Direct permissions.
6. Does CME Direct Mobile display real-time market data?
Yes, all data provided is real-time market data.
7. I have an ISV ID with CME Group market access. Can I use CME Direct Mobile?
No, CME Direct Mobile does not support ISV user IDs.
8. As a CME Direct user, can I trade with CME Direct Mobile?
Yes, trading is available for all CME Group futures and options markets via CME Direct Mobile from your iPhone, iPad and Android devices. Note that you won't be able to trade until both your company admin and FCM grant you mobile trading permissions.
9. How can I get permission to trade or view my CME Direct orders/fills on CME Direct Mobile?
Your firm administrator (VO) and your FCM need to grant you permissions to trade on CME Direct Mobile. If you use multiple FCMs, each FCM and account must be permissioned separately.
Firm admins: Trading access can be enabled in CME Direct Admin, by enabling either ‘Can Cancel Mobile Order’ or ‘Can Manage Mobile Orders’ in a users secondary role tab.

10. If I have trading permissions on CME Direct, does that automatically mean I have trading permissions on CME Direct Mobile?
No. User permissions are managed separately for CME Direct Mobile. For example, a user might have full trading permissions on CME Direct but only be permitted to view market prices on CME Direct Mobile.
11. Are CME Direct Mobile-originated orders viewable and cancellable on the CME Direct desktop?
Yes, the mobile and desktop platforms stay synchronized. Orders submitted from either platform will be reflected and can be managed in your order book on both the desktop and mobile.
12. As a firm administrator, can I see orders originated and traded on CME Direct Mobile?
Yes, each order is flagged as a mobile order, which is visible on CME Direct desktop and included in audit files.
13. How is the new CME Direct Mobile different from the previous mobile app?
The new CME Direct Mobile is a completely re-engineered application, built using the latest mobile technologies to provide a reliable, mobile-first experience, with many additional features.
14. Can I import my CME Direct trading grids or configurations?
You can choose to make CME Direct trading grids available on your mobile device.
To make your CME Direct trading grids available on your mobile device, right-click on the market data grouping in CME Direct desktop and select 'Group [Market data grouping name] > Show in mobile.'
15. What data will I be able to access on CME Mobile?
All markets available via CME Direct will be accessible on CME Group Mobile.
