CHICAGO, March 1, 2011 – CME Group, the world’s leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, yesterday announced the introduction of 17 new crude oil, fuel oil and gasoil futures contracts. The contracts, which were listed for trading effective February 28, 2011, will be traded on the NYMEX floor and available for clearing services through CME ClearPort.
These contracts are an extension of CME Group’s flagship NYMEX crude oil, fuel oil and gasoil benchmark product offering. The 17 futures contracts include:
