• Legacy SPAN files deadline extended to Thursday, October 15, 2009

    • To provide firms more time for testing, and to ensure that switching to the new combined SPAN® file does not distract firm’s focus from being ready for COMEX and NYMEX integration, the deadline for converting to the new combined SPAN file has been extended.
       
      In particular, the “legacy” SPAN files – the “ccl” files which contain data for CME and CBOT, and the separate “nymex” and “comex” SPAN files – will continue to be published through Thursday October 15.  The first day that they will not be available, will be Friday October 16.
