    • Diamond Offshore Drilling, Inc. (“DO”) has announced a special cash dividend of $1.875 per DO Common Share. The record date is May 1, 2009; payable date is June 1, 2009. The ex-distribution date for this distribution will be April 29, 2009. Diamond Offshore has characterized this dividend as “special” and has distinguished it from the regular quarterly dividend payable on the same date.

      This corporate action will be coordinated with the Options Clearing Corporation.
