Sustainable Clearing Verification Process - Effective September 27, 2021

As per the recently announced Sustainable Clearing Project, CME Clearing will be offering an initial operational process for reporting Sustainable Clearing transactions; Sustainable Clearing Verification. With this process, managed via sFTP, Firms can submit files specifying Trades and Allocations related to Sustainable business. CME Clearing will respond with files of Verified Trades/Allocations, enriched with pertinent trade details, as well as echoing back the Sustainable Business Category and Sustainable Category Source per transaction that was specified by the Firm. Firms will use their existing sFTP connection and folders for transmission and retrieval of these files. While the use of this process is optional, CME Clearing will be ready for support in Production starting Monday, September 27, 2021.
