NewAction Required: Changes to Risk Management System DPs and Onboarding - Q1 2026
In Q1 2026, the current nominated Risk Management System Designated Person (DP) for each BrokerTec participant will be migrated to BrokerTec Risk Management System users, and a self-service model will be introduced.
As part of these changes, all current nominated DPs with an active CME Group login that exactly matches the email address on file in Service Cloud will be automatically migrated to become BrokerTec Risk Management System users. A designated Middle Office Admin Manager at each firm will oversee the self-service user management model.
To ensure a smooth transition and avoid disruptions to your trading activity, all BrokerTec participants must complete the following actions:
- Confirm Designated Persons (DPs): Ensure every current DP has an active CME Group login with an email address that exactly matches the one on file in Service Cloud. This is required for user accounts to be migrated automatically.
- Confirm a Middle Office Admin Manager: Confirm your firm has a designated Middle Office Admin Manager. If one is not assigned, please contact Global Account Management to complete the self-service form.
Effective Q1 2026, all new users for the BrokerTec Risk Management system will be onboarded via the BrokerTec Risk Management UI Registration form. New user entitlements will be managed and appointed by the firm’s designated Middle Office Admin Manager, who oversees Globex Firm IDs (GFID).
For questions regarding your firm’s authorized persons, Middle Office Admin Manager, or system support, please contact Global Account Management.
For compliance-related questions, please contact U.S. Compliance.
