CBOT Holdings to Release 2006 Third Quarter Financial Results on Tuesday, October 17, 2006

CHICAGO, September 18, 2006 – CBOT Holdings, Inc., holding company for the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT^®) (NYSE: BOT), one of the leading global derivatives exchanges, today announced that it will release financial results for its 2006 third quarter, ending September 30, 2006, on Tuesday, October 17, 2006.  A news release will be issued prior to the NYSE market opening and will be followed by a conference call at 8:00 a.m. ET, 7:00 a.m. CT. The call will last approximately one hour and will feature remarks by the company's senior management.
