CHICAGO, IL, September 8, 2006--The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) will observe two separate one-minute periods of silence in honor of the terrorist attack victims of September 11, 2001.

What:    The CBOT open auction market will observe two separate one-minute periods of   silence in honor of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack victims.

When:  Monday, September 11, 2006
             7:46 a.m. CT and 9:29 a.m. CT

Where:  Chicago Board of Trade, 141 W. Jackson Blvd., 4th Floor, Financial Trading Facility (7:46 a.m. CT and 9:29 a.m CT) and Agricultural Trading Floor (9:29 a.m CT).
