NYMEX Sets Daily Volume Records on CME Globex®

New York, N.Y., July 20, 2006 —The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. announced today that it set daily volume records for total energy futures and miNYTM crude oil futures traded on CME Globex on July 19.

Total energy futures volume reached 140,380 contracts, topping the 121,018 contracts traded on July 18.

The NYMEX miNYTM crude oil futures contract traded a record 107,457 contracts, surpassing the 83,230 contracts traded on July 18.
