NYMEX Sets Daily Volume Records in NYMEX miNYTM Futures Contracts

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: (212) New York, N.Y., July 10, 2006 — The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. announced today that it set daily volume records for its NYMEX miNYTM crude oil and heating oil futures contracts on July 7.

The NYMEX miNY crude oil futures reached 75,682 contracts, exceeding the 74,328 contracts traded on June 21.

Volume for the NYMEX miNY heating oil futures was of 4,792 contracts, topping the 3,978 contracts traded on June 26.
