NYMEX Obtains Additional International Authorizations

NEW YORK, N.Y., November 2, 2006 — The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. announced today that it has obtained authorization to offer the use of its electronic clearing and trading systems in Alberta, Canada; the British Virgin Islands; the Czech Republic; Denmark; the Dubai International Financial Centre; Finland; Guernsey; Korea; Luxembourg; Malaysia; Monaco; New Zealand; Poland; and Russia.

The scope of activity applies to electronic trading of any NYMEX product on NYMEX electronic venues. This includes NYMEX products listed on the CME Globex® trading platform, COMEX products on NYMEX ACCESS®, and NYMEX ClearPort® trading.
