Your questions, answered

10-Barrel WTI Crude Oil (TCL) futures are financially settled contracts designed for precision and accessibility. At 1/100 the size of the benchmark WTI Crude Oil (CL) futures and 1/10 the size of Micro WTI Crude Oil (MCL) futures, this will be the first Energy contract available for 24/7 trading.

For market participants trading 10-Barrel WTI Crude Oil futures seven days a week, there will be a daily, two-minute maintenance window from 4:00 p.m. to 4:02 p.m. Central Time (CT) on Monday through Friday and a two-hour maintenance window on Saturday from 2:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. CT. 

Participants trading five days a week will have the existing Globex hours available from Sunday to Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m CT with a 60-minute break each day beginning at 4:00 p.m. CT.

10-Barrel WTI Crude Oil futures will trade continuously on Globex regardless of the calendar day. Any trading activity occurring over the weekend or during exchange holidays – specifically  from Friday evening through Sunday evening – will have a trade date of the following business day. All clearing, settlement and regulatory reporting will be processed on that following business day as well.
