In addition to CME Group-provided front-end applications, we also offer clients the ability to develop their own applications to access and interact with CME Group listed derivatives, EBS Market and BrokerTec markets.

Certification Overview
All applications interacting with the Globex platform are required to complete certification prior to accessing production in order to optimize performance and minimize risk.
Order Routing Certification
iLink
iLink is the Globex order routing interface for CME Group listed derivatives, EBS Market and BrokerTec markets. Built on the industry-standard FIX protocol, iLink offers customers two gateway access models:
- Convenience Gateway (CGW): Provides a connection to any CGW session, which manages routing for all order entry messages to all market segments; routing is transparent to customer.
- Market Segment Gateway (MSGW): Provides a connection to a dedicated market segment, which is defined as a group of products on a given trading engine instance.

MDP 3.0 on Market Data Platform
The Market Data Platform allows you to integrate our market data for CME Group listed derivatives, EBS and BrokerTec products into your trading applications. Market Data Platform (MDP) 3.0 is a low latency and direct data access solution designed to improve customers’ ability to process and act on real-time price information.

Messaging Certification
Drop Copy
Drop Copy service allows CME Group listed derivatives, EBS Market and BrokerTec market participants to receive real-time copies of Globex execution report and acknowledgment messages as they are sent over iLink order entry sessions on a separate, dedicated path. Drop Copy aggregates iLink messages, enabling market participants to aggregate positions and monitor orders across iLink sessions across Globex firm IDs.
A monthly fee of $500 will be charged per Drop Copy group. The Drop Copy fee will be waived for the entity’s first Drop Copy group. A certified application is required to access Drop Copy in market participant’s production.

Please note: For CME Group listed derivatives, non-clearing market participants must have their clearing firm’s approval in order to have iLink sessions guaranteed by that clearing firm added to a drop copy group.
