Submitting a Trade at Cash Open (TACO) Block Trade in CME Direct

Follow these steps to submit a Trade at Cash Open block trade for E-mini S&P 500 futures via CME Direct.

1. Log in to CME Direct, and click on the “+” sign in the upper right corner of the window to open reports. Click on the OTC Trade Book.

2. From the OTC Trade Book, click on the “Add Deal” button to open an OTC ticket.

3. Type “ESQ” in the Product search box and select TACO. Add your price, block quantity (which must meet the TACO block minimum of 500 contracts) and valid accounts. Click pre-confirm.

4. Click “Submit for clearing” on the next page and verify that the trade cleared in the OTC Trade Book.
