E-mini Dow futures posted their strongest percentage gain in over 18 months, surging past the 53,000 level to hit their highest mark since September 8. The index outperformed other major U.S. benchmarks, aided by declines in Treasury yields and WTI Crude Oil prices that provided support for industrial and consumer components. Meanwhile, tech-heavy indices faced relative pressure after voters rejected 38 of 41 local data center development proposals, impacting power producers and chipmakers despite gains in select large-cap holdings.
