U.S. equity index futures closed near unchanged on Tuesday as weakness in the semiconductor sector offset the kickoff of third-quarter bank earnings. Micron and Western Digital slipped following overnight technology selling in South Korea, while major financial institutions reported mixed results. Meanwhile, Treasury yields moved lower across the curve ahead of key inflation data releases later this week. Trading volume in equity index options remains subdued, with implied volatility for Friday expirations dipping below 10%. In digital assets, Bitcoin futures rebounded from an early low near $81,000.
