Oliver Sloup breaks down Friday's action in the livestock complex, highlighting a sharp pullback in both Live Cattle and Feeder Cattle futures. Despite strength earlier in the week, December Live Cattle futures dropped $1.70 to settle at $221.47, pressured by softer cutout values and a daily slaughter rate of 109,000 head. November Feeder Cattle futures saw even heavier pressure, sliding $5.20. Conversely, Lean Hog futures staged a strong rebound, rallying $1.20 to finish the week higher after bouncing off recent contract lows.
