WTI Crude Oil futures caught a modest bid, trading up over 1% after falling nearly 9% over the previous five sessions. Market participants weighed progress in diplomatic discussions alongside potential supply impacts from proposed U.S. diesel export restrictions. Overseas diesel futures surged as much as 7%, supporting broader energy prices even as API data showed a 1.8 million barrel build in domestic crude stocks. Meanwhile, Natural Gas futures extended gains above $3.15 per MMBtu as daily U.S. production dropped to its lowest level since July and short covering accelerated ahead of late-week weather systems.
