WTI Crude Oil futures traded lower for a third consecutive session, falling over 1% as market participants digested shifting geopolitical dynamics in the Middle East. Reports indicating that Saudi Arabia may increase exports through the Strait of Hormuz helped alleviate short-term supply concerns that had previously pushed prices higher. After reaching a four-month high earlier in the week, WTI crude returned to near where it opened the week. The October contract hovered just above $100 per barrel, while trading volume shifted toward the November contract near $96 per barrel as positions rolled forward.
