Soybean futures traded firmly to reach a new three-year high as Chinese import demand for the 2026 and 2027 marketing years continues to underpin the market. Strong option open interest in November Soybean futures highlights elevated market participation, with significant volume clustered around the 1340 and 1380 call strikes. Corn futures also trended higher, supported by the lowest carryout levels in more than a decade and record-setting December open interest surpassing 1 million contracts for only the second time. In the wheat complex, futures experienced mixed price action as geopolitical uncertainties provide a structural floor, while elevated CVOL metrics point to persistent market volatility amid extreme September weather forecasts.
