Live Cattle futures face downward pressure as an influx of beef imports and Mexican cattle crossing the border weigh on the market. Higher feed costs have also impacted the complex, keeping prices near December 2025 levels. Feeder Cattle futures followed the lower trend as packers held out for better pricing, driving trade sideways near nine-month lows with the October contract dropping $2.43 to $312.97. Lean Hogs futures remained firm on higher cash values, pushing the October contract up $1.25 to $84.90.
