Gold futures rebound from a two-week low amid escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and rising Treasury yields. Market expectations for a 25 bps rate hike at the September FOMC meeting have surged to 64%, up from 36.6% a week prior, following hawkish comments from Federal Reserve officials at Jackson Hole. Silver and Platinum futures also bounce higher as the precious metals complex stabilizes, while Copper futures trade higher despite a stalled rally as inflation expectations weigh on the industrial demand outlook.
