December 10-Year T-Note futures fell for a fifth consecutive session on Tuesday, reaching new contract lows near 107'04 as Treasury yields pushed higher. The U.S. 10-Year Treasury yield gained 4 basis points to 4.80%, surpassing its January 2025 peak to reach its highest level since October 2023. Rising WTI Crude Oil futures above $90 per barrel, global bond market pressures from Japan, and hawkish expectations ahead of the September FOMC meeting continued to weigh on debt markets. Selling was most pronounced in the belly of the curve, where 2-Year to 10-Year yields rose 4 to 4.5 basis points.
