Dan Deming of KKM Financial analyzes the equity index futures markets as S&P 500 futures rebound after closing at a three-week low in the prior session. Deming notes that positive reactions to corporate earnings, options expiration for the August cycle, and solid economic data provided short-term support to help markets stabilize. Despite the daily gains across major benchmark indices, including the Dow, Russell 2000, and Nasdaq-100 futures, all major equity indices remain down on a week-over-week basis. However, the S&P 500 futures trade just over one week removed from an all-time closing high.
