December Corn futures gave back a portion of Wednesday's WASDE-driven gains, pulling back to close on top of the 100-day moving average. Market focus remains centered on the corn yield debate following the USDA's reduction in national average yield estimates. Weather conditions across the Corn Belt present a divided picture, with dry stress persisting in western areas while eastern regions benefited from recent rainfall. Meanwhile, weekly export sales met expectations, featuring 411,000 metric tons of old crop sales and 925,000 metric tons of new crop sales.
