WTI Crude Oil futures pulled back from recent gains as traders weighed the potential for a new agreement in the Strait of Hormuz. Despite the price slip, the IEA projected a global inventory shortfall of 1.8 million barrels per day this quarter. In domestic data, the EIA reported a robust 17.4 million barrel build in crude stocks alongside surging imports. Meanwhile, Natural Gas futures rebounded 1.5% to reclaim the $2.80 level, supported by shifting weather forecasts pointing to cooler temperatures, even as production remains elevated and storage ample heading into the fall.
