Nasdaq-100 futures continued their recent sideways correction, trading within a stable channel and sitting just 4.1% below all-time highs. The July CPI report came in right in line with expectations, clearing a major economic hurdle for the session and keeping the Federal Reserve's rate debate alive. This lack of pressure for a September move helped support longer-duration technology stocks. Additionally, strong earnings reports from CoreWeave and Super Micro reinforced the AI infrastructure buildout story. Both companies highlighted strong demand and record data center orders, elevating the semiconductor and cloud sectors that make up a major part of the index.
