S&P 500 futures moved higher for a third consecutive session, retaking the 7,600 level and trading just shy of their all-time closing highs from early June. The upward price action was driven by a confluence of macroeconomic factors, including stronger-than-anticipated corporate earnings, a reduction in Middle East geopolitical tensions that pressured WTI Crude Oil futures lower, and a broad decline in interest rates. While the S&P 500 and Dow demonstrated renewed strength, with the Dow appearing to set a new all-time high, the Russell and Nasdaq-100 continued to lag their previous June peaks.
