Grain futures traded sharply lower across the board ahead of the highly anticipated USDA grain stocks and acreage report. Soybean futures fell as analysts project domestic ending stocks to exceed 1 billion bushels, hitting a six-year high. Corn futures slumped on expectations of a record crop and stockpiles reaching 5.39 billion bushels, bringing December down to 4.27'1. Wheat futures joined the downturn, pressured by projections of a six-year high stock level at 935 million bushels, pushing the December contract beneath the 6.00 threshold.
