Virginia McGathey reviews the latest activity across the grain markets, noting mixed results for Soybean futures amidst escalating Middle East tensions and a slight drop in shipments. Despite a strong start, sideways trading persisted across the July and November contracts, with notable options activity on both sides. In the corn market, investors trimmed their long positions by 87,000 contracts, pushing Corn futures lower despite sales outpacing last year's figures. Meanwhile, Wheat futures found support from a 12% increase in shipments and expected import increases from Brazil and Argentina due to production issues, though early rallies struggled to hold through the close.
