Live Cattle futures experienced a mixed session as trade action remained soft despite a neutral-to-friendly On-Feed report, embodying a buy the rumor, sell the fact scenario. Feeder Cattle futures also trended lower, struggling to regain losses from Friday's sharp drop, with the May contract falling 4.65 to 360.62. Conversely, Lean Hog futures saw a modest recovery from an oversold position, driven by optimism regarding supply numbers and the potential for higher cash prices, pushing the June contract up 82 cents.
