Live and Feeder Cattle futures finished the week on a strong note, rallying during Friday's session. Oliver Sloup of Blue Line Futures details the gains in June Live Cattle and April Feeder Cattle futures, which saw significant weekly advances. The commentary covers the latest USDA Cattle on Feed report, noting that placements came in well above analyst expectations at 104%. Additionally, Sloup discusses the influence of mid-day cash bids in Texas and the latest slaughter data, while noting that lean hog futures bucked the trend by finishing softer for the week.
