Virginia McGathey reviews the livestock markets as Live Cattle futures remain steady amid tight supplies. June Live Cattle futures mirrored yesterday's range, closing unchanged at 233.77. In the feeder market, uncertainty surrounding the JBS plant strike caused the market rebound to stall. April Feeder Cattle futures dropped $2.85 to 351.95, while May futures declined to 348.40. Lean Hog futures also faced pressure from lower cutouts, though demand for pork remains robust. The hog market experienced choppy, sideways trade, with the June contract ending down $0.22 at 107.55.
