Natural Gas futures continued to move lower during today's session, reaching the lowest levels for the month and hitting five month lows. Prices trended toward 2.82 in the futures market, a decline of approximately 1.5%. Driving the downward pressure are forecasts for moderate temperatures across the lower 48 states over the next 7 to 14 days, which has impacted demand expectations. While weekly storage draws were announced, the data did not significantly offset the trend of above-average supply. In other energy markets, WTI Crude Oil futures remained relatively unchanged, hovering around 65.50 after a volatile session. Natural gas continues to face selling pressure, returning to price levels not seen since late October.
