While the Nasdaq-100 futures faced downward pressure, the S&P 500 futures moved off their lows and the Dow turned positive. Nvidia experienced record retail buying volume despite the price action, while Salesforce saw a positive response to its earnings report. Economic data showed weekly jobless claims at 212,000, while continuing claims decreased by 31,000. In the options market, high volume was noted in E-mini Russell 2000 futures and S&P 500 futures contracts. Cryptocurrency futures also saw significant activity at CME Group, with Bitcoin futures briefly reclaiming the 70,000 level and Ether futures seeing heavy volume as the March contracts gain traction.
