Natural Gas futures extended a three session rally as March Natural Gas futures traded in a volatile range between 3.32 and 3.573. The U.S. Energy Information Administration reported a record weekly storage withdrawal of 360 billion cubic feet for the week ending January 30th, leaving total inventories at 2,463 billion cubic feet. While current stocks are 41 billion cubic feet above year-ago levels, they remain 27 billion cubic feet below the five-year average. Heating demand is expected to remain high through the weekend due to cold sweeps in the Midwest and Northeast before a projected warming trend moderates demand next week.
