Equity markets saw a significant rotation as technology shares came under pressure, sending the Nasdaq-100 down 2%. The ISM manufacturing PMI rose to 52.6, signaling a shift from contraction to expansion and marking a three-year high. In the options market, volumes increased with implied volatility touching two-month highs near 15%. Crypto markets also saw selling pressure as Bitcoin retraced to 73,000, erasing recent gains. Despite the volatility, CME Group reported robust activity with over 110,000 Micro Bitcoin futures traded.
