Equity index futures markets saw mixed results in today's session as the Nasdaq-100 and S&P 500 moved lower while the Dow and Russell 2,000 finished with small gains. Nasdaq-100 futures came off 3-month highs, falling as much as 1.75% intraday before recovering to close down 0.5%. Disappointing earnings from Microsoft influenced the software sector, though Meta and IBM provided positive outliers. Late session buying pressure helped most major markets move off their intraday lows as the tech sector reacted to varying earnings data.
