U.S. equity markets experienced significant losses as the S&P 500, Nasdaq-100, and Dow recorded their largest declines in over a month. The Nasdaq-100 fell nearly 2%, trading below its 50-day moving average for the first time since early January. These moves come amid renewed tariff rhetoric and a shift in global bond markets, where the U.S. 10-Year Treasury yield rose to 4.3%. In Japan, the 40-year government bond yield reached a record high as global selloffs continued. Additionally, Bitcoin fell below the 90,000 level, mirroring the technical breakdowns seen in equities. This week also features a heavy earnings calendar with reports expected from Netflix, Johnson & Johnson and GE.
