Live Cattle futures moved lower amid mixed boxed beef prices and reduced slaughter rates that failed to aid packer margins. Feeder Cattle futures also faced pressure, with the March contract retreating after touching new highs as caution dominated the cash trade. Conversely, Lean Hog futures traded higher, supported by solid pork demand and a faster slaughter pace that countered heavy livestock weights.
