Live Cattle futures moved higher as cash trade increased in both the North and South, while funds expanded their net long positions. Feeder Cattle futures remained firm with feedlots holding out for higher cash prices, anticipating that packers were short bought for the week. Conversely, Lean Hog futures fell below a two-week channel as plentiful supplies and lack of urgency from packers pressured the market.
