Live Cattle futures moved lower as box prices declined, with the February contract retreating from its recent surge. Feeder Cattle futures also saw a pullback attributed to profit taking and an overbought market condition, though news of screw worm concerns in Mexico continues to impact border expectations. Lean Hog futures edged lower following a drop in pork cutouts, yet the market maintained its established two-week trading channel through the holiday period.
