Live Cattle futures remained firm as a higher cash trade encouraged trader confidence, with April contracts closing near 236.52. Feeder Cattle futures rose $4.15 to 357.10 as feedlots held out for higher prices while packers worked to secure post-holiday supplies. Lean Hogs futures also saw significant gains, supported by retail outlets restocking for the first quarter of 2026. The lean hogs market has maintained a steady climb since late November, with February futures rising to 86.50.
