Live Cattle, Feeder Cattle, and Lean Hog futures all posted gains to close the session. February Live Cattle futures finished $1.50 higher at $230.47, while March Feeder Cattle futures led the complex with a $2.90 gain. The wholesale boxed beef report showed mixed results as choice cuts fell and select cuts edged higher. Meanwhile, volatility and average daily trading ranges for cattle continued to trend lower amid a steady cash market and limited headline risks.
