Live Cattle futures remained steady as limited cash activity and the shortened holiday week kept the market in a sideways pattern for the third consecutive week. Feeder Cattle futures showed some firmness, supported by steady underlying interest despite a slowdown in feedlot buying to end the year. Lean Hog futures also remained firm on the back of resilient pork demand, though traders expect choppy, light-volume sessions heading into the new year.
