Nasdaq-100 futures attempted to secure a sixth consecutive higher close, trading near 25,890. The semiconductor sector provided a primary tailwind, with positive sentiment around Nvidia supporting the index relative to other benchmarks. While the Dow and S&P 500 recently reached all-time highs prior to the Christmas holiday, the Nasdaq-100 remains below its October peaks. In contrast to the tech-led strength, the industrial sector and small cap futures experienced selling pressure, highlighting a day of relative performance dispersion across equity markets.
