Euro futures moved higher to start the week, reaching 1.1760 as the U.S. dollar weakened. This reversal follows a period of dollar strength driven by geopolitical uncertainty in the Middle East. Despite a lack of new headlines, volatility increased alongside the price action as uncertainty remains elevated. Recent data indicates that speculators have been adding to their net long positions, reaching their most long levels since December 2023.
