S&P 500 futures traded lower, down about 1% and hitting a one-month low, as heavy selling pressure impacted all major equity index futures markets. The primary drivers included ongoing questions about valuations and market leadership, coupled with concerns over waning consumer confidence and accelerated labor market weakness. The selling pressure was significant, with Nasdaq-100 futures down over 1%, Dow futures down about 1.25%, and Russell futures down about 2% and trading at better than two-month lows. S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq-100 futures are both trading at one-month lows, with the Dow futures coming off a record high from last week.
