Cattle futures finished higher on Friday after a week of choppy trade, with February Live Cattle futures gaining 57 cents and January Feeder Cattle futures increasing by $\$2.10$, though both contracts finished lower for the week. The Wholesale Boxed Beef report showed a weaker tone with Choice cuts falling $\$2.89$ and Select cuts sliding 50 cents, and cattle volatility (C-VOL) was lower for both live and feeder cattle on Friday but remains at elevated levels.
